Google has made a startling move that has created panic among python learners and developers as it has decided to lay off the whole of its Python team. This act thus brings into question Google’s future with this language which for a long time now has been referred to be the pillar of Google. A highly popular programming language known for its simplicity and readability, Python is supported by enthusiasts worldwide and finds application in various domains including ML, web development, and data science.
This sudden occurrence has caused lots of tremors especially in relation to developers since most people thought that this was an indication that Python had become irrelevant. Nevertheless, Google still needs Python for its machine learning (ML) and data science teams which are heavily dependent on it. This situation is puzzling and provokes questions about how things work internally.

Python is relevant in ML and data science because it contains libraries like TensorFlow as well as Pandas which are strong enough to support these fields without which, they would be very difficult to go through. What is ironic here however, is that while the company is retrenching python programmers its own machine learning (ML) and data scientist divisions are increasingly using tools developed by these same employees.
For Python programmers, this disruption affirms what they already know: technology keeps evolving but their abilities must adapt accordingly. The huge collection of tools available within the python community contributes largely towards this strength in banding together. Even without a direct reference formerly known as Google’s dev
